Prepare for interviews and bench tests
After you submit, invitations come in waves. The weeks of waiting are the best time to prepare for interviews and for the bench (practical) exams that many programs use to assess your hand skills.
At this stage
- Find out each school’s interview format: behavioral, ethical, knowledge or MMI
- Talk to current students and alumni about their interview day
- Prepare bullet-point answers and practice on camera
- Practice bench preparations under time pressure and get them critiqued
